Parent Information

Our Classes

We currently have four classes:

  • EYFS, year one and year two
  • Year three and year four
  • Year five
  • Year six

Our classes are arranged depending on the number of children in individual year groups. If you have any queries about your child please approach your child’s class teacher as a first point of call.

School Timings

School starts at 9.00am and ends at 3.30pm (32.5 hour week). Pupils may be dropped off at school from 8.00am onwards where there is free provision for them to play with their friends until the school day starts.

Attendance

It is a legal requirement that parents and carers ensure that their child attends school; every minute of every day is important. We really appreciate your co-operation in this.

Weekly Menu

We cook delicious, locally sourced meals for our children. We can cater for all dietary needs.

All children in EYFS and key stage 1 are entitled to universal free school meals. Free school meals are then means tested in key stage 2. If you are paying for your child’s school dinner we ask that you pay in advance please.

The government also run the School Fruit and Vegetable Scheme which provides daily fruit for our children in EYFS and key stage 1. The school provides daily fruit for children in key stage 2.

Pupil Progress Meetings

We always have an open door and are happy to discuss anything about your child with you on a day-to-day basis.  In addition, pupil progress meetings are offered formally twice a year.
